Tauranga based insurance specialists, John Warren Insurances Ltd has rebranded to become Oā€™Connor Warren Insurance Brokers.

Eamon Oā€™Connor, former manager of Auckland based Jardine Lloyd Thompsonā€™s transport division joins Oā€™Connor Warren, returning to his hometown after 17 years.

Oā€™Connor was raised and educated in Tauranga and joins the newly rebranded business as managing director with key responsibility to drive business strategy around the fast growing transport sector.

Having successfully managed JLTā€™s New Zealand transport insurance facility for ten years, Oā€™Connor has a respected track record across New Zealand transport risk management, with incisive knowledge across the industryā€™s insurance, risk and myriad legislation issues.

Oā€™Connor is a former board member of the New Zealand Trucking Association, and Oā€™Connor Warrenā€™s John Warren says ā€œEamonā€™s significant transport expertise and affiliation will complement our businessā€™s strong knowledge base and long-standing relationships.

Oā€™Connor has also worked in London and Dublin with global broker Marsh.
